  • Working this morning out of the office; at parents. They play with Dylan – I get some work done! #
  • Time for a caffeine slingshot. Double espresso and a 30 minute kip. BRB! #
  • Ok so I'm lying thereon my caffeine high, dreaming up all kinds of applications for the iPad. I'm thinking fixed kiosks for small biz atm. #
  • Manufacturing problems with Apple iPad production may limit the initial launch to the US only. http://bit.ly/dpqg5i #iPad #Apple #
  • Wow, can anyone else in Farnborough smell that aviation fuel (avgas) in the air? It's so thick you can feel it in your nose & throat. #
  • Is Apple the new Primark? Sequins or touchscreens; it's bad when your supply chain uses kids, excessive hours and poor pay and conditions. #
  • Does anyone have any info on the specific manufacturing 'bottleneck' with Apple's suppliers? Did the kids have to go back to school? :\ #
  • A revealing interview with Sir Clive Sinclair, who doesn't 'use a computer at all' in the Guardian: http://bit.ly/cDplYl #
  • Just thought I'd sign up for a two week DVD rental plan at Blockbuster for a £1 trial. They charged me £12.99 #BLOCKBUSTER #MATHS #FAIL #
  • If I buy into Avis for 500 shares I get a perpetual 20% discount coupon. I think the savings might outweigh the shares plummeting to zero! #
  • Oh dear, Avis aren't offering the shareholder discount anymore. I guess too many people bought Avis to get a discount coupon! :) #
  • I seem to have caught that disease which makes one (usually blokes) order stuff late at night. I've just picked up some premium bonds. #
  • I will pray to the gods of the premium bonds that I win next month. Just in time for a holiday. #
  • What software do people use for designing classes? Visual Studio, Visio, some UML modeling software, Pen & Paper, something else? #
  • I have today received two job offers, unsolicited. One is permanent the other, contract. I'm not even looking! Is the recession over now? #
  • I have released another beta of ReceiptAgent (formerly FreeAgent Receipts) to the beta testers. Thanks guys, it couldn't be done without you #
  • "Prejudice" by Tim Minchin: Hillarious! http://bit.ly/boDxa1 #
  • iPad rumour – Wi-fi model launch at 6pm on March 26th. "Special gift" for those who queue (presume @ apple store) early. via MacRumours #
  • Powercut, great. And the UPS failed too :( time to call the electric company… #
  • Power cut seems extensive, from Aldershot to Farnborough. Ground zero at Kingsmead. Expected outage for 2-3 hours, or possibly longer :/ #
  • New neighbour just popped over with a broken laptop – showing a ton of trojans. Time to download a rescue disk iso! #
  • A surprisingly warm day. Today is the first day of shorts and t-shirt weather :) #
  • So, UK iPad pre-orders open next week. But does this mean I miss out on the possibility of a "surprise gift" from the Apple Store? :P #
  • PLEASE stop growing, Apple! I was going to go in at 210, you're at 216+ now, since iPad announcement! http://tweetphoto.com/13321435 #
  • Just exchanged a few emails with local MP re libel law reform. Might I have gotten him to change his mind? Time will tell… @SLSingh #libel #
  • Apple's UK site now officially says that Apple iPad is coming "Late April". AAPL closes at 219.14 (+4% today). #
  • At HSBC Basingstoke. There's a very big arguement going on in one of the side rooms. Sounds violent, and everyone is looking nervous! #
  • It gets worse; popped into Wetherspoons for a quick lunch and ended up leaving very quickly as some gypsies/travellers threw food at me! :/ #
  • Finally having a lovely meal at GBK :) #
  • Today marks the 2nd anniversary of 100% Micro ISV day. The day I left "cubical" nation (or at least full time dev services) for products. #
  • Gliders over Odiham. Colours by mobile Photoshop :) http://yfrog.com/j6dluj #
  • In conservatory, catching up on episodes of Q.I. (missus is watching period drama). Thanks to mum in law for cheeses & wine – awesome :) #
